Memorial Day 2018

Memorial Day this year we hopped on a plane and headed to Prescott, Arizona to see the Lohmeier side of the family. It was a rare opportunity to have all 3 siblings and their significant others together <3

Greyson's first plane ride at nearly 2 years old (Ava had taken 20 something flights by his age!)

Greyson had a blast exploring the cabin, and finding all of Mimi's decorative bears

We always have to do some painting of pinecones when here!

Greyson and his beloved "pop"

Having fun with Auntie Ella...

Boompa taught Ava how to throw water balloons at Mama...

Ava loved visiting the candy/ice cream store at the town square where Mimi let her pick out anything she wanted...and she chose "pink ice cream" :)

Breakfast with Auntie Ella <3

And Auntie Jen <3

Mimi snuggles...these kids LOVE their Mimi <3

A little play time!

Ava teaching Mimi and G'Gma how to play Princess Candyland

No trip to Prescott is complete without dinner at Rosa's...yum!

We had such a blast at Lynx Lake...

Ava just adores her Auntie Ella <3

We had lunch after boating, and the kids just loved watching all the hummingbirds!

Mimi & Boompa we thoughtful to throw Ava a party at the cabin (her true birthday wish...she loves the cabin!), on the day of her actual birthday <3

Posing with her beloved Aunties

Our last night, Dee was so thoughtful to put the kids to bed, while I stayed and played "What the Meme" with my family...so fun!

Since we were flying out of Phoenix, we decided to spend our final day there so we could visit an actual butterfly garden, as Ava is obsessed with butterflies and has been asking to go to a garden for a while now. It was such a special memory!

The highlight of Ava's entire trip!

There was also an impressive aquarium (the largest on the west coast!), as part of the venue...

Our flights out of Phoenix thankfully coincided with Mimi & Boompa, so we got in one last visit with them at the airport food court, before heading home.

This guy isn't a very patient flier, but he didn't do so bad for it being his first time!
