By far the worst illness we've ever experienced - Hand Foot and Mouth disease...it was miserable and lasted for weeks! These pictures don't do justice to how awful the sores were - and Greyson got them all over his entire body. Ava and I only had them in our mouths. Daddy escaped altogether.
My incredibly thoughtful friends organized a surprise night out in honor of my birthday, even going so far as to include my mother while she was in town visiting. Well, it all came crashing down when Hand/Foot/Mouth struck us (my parents had to reschedule their trip even), so they all sent me this beautiful edible arrangement to cheer me up on my birthday. I've truly been blessed with amazingly thoughtful friends!
Ava also had to cancel her week-long fairy camp due to HFM and Mimi, being the incredibly thoughtful Mimi she is, sent fairy camp to Ava - she had a super fun and creative craft to do each day of the week while home sick! <3

And, being stuck home for a solid two weeks, we got really creative with crafts to keep us entertained. Shown here are bubble painting and painting ice!

Grandma and Papa so thoughtfully gifted Ava a monthly subscription to Little Passports for her birthday, so each month she gets a package to learn about a given theme all over the world. This month shown here was all about weather...we got to learn about hurricanes, tornados, tsunamis, and monsoons and where they all occur :)
