Mains Memories: Summer 2016 Wrap Up

This Summer was full of great memories, kicking off with the big move from our first home to our new home in a much better community for us! It's bittersweet, reflecting on this being the last Summer with just Ava, but I can't wait to see what amazing adventures lie ahead with two kiddos!

We also had lots of fun with buddy Emmie while her parents moved into their new home (twas the summer for people moving!)

So much fun taking Ava to her first movie in the theaters - she loved Finding Dory as much as we did!

Though we don't have many pictures of it, about 80% of our time this summer was spent in a pool! Ava LOVES swimming, and here she is swimming with daddy at Uncle Tim and Aunt Michele's for the 4th of July...

Ava loved the Sacramento Train Museum so much we got an annual membership!

Potty training was a huge success and not nearly as difficult as I was anticipating. Ava was too funny - her reward she requested was either greek yogurt or cheese! Here's her yogurt face...

We had our dear friends, the Tucker's, Franks', and Grindy's over for a dinner one Sunday night.

Ava's been going through this lovely (insert sarcastic tone) phase of peacefully protesting her naps - where she'll sing and do gymnastics for up to two hours before falling asleep. Here's a handstand I captured!

I love how my OB's office helps to entertain Ava - they even make her balloons! It sure makes 1 hour+ appointments a lot easier of me, especially strapped up to machines
