Had we hosted a party this year, it was going to be Minnie Mouse themed, as that's one of Ava's favorite loves! Sadly, we ended up moving much closer to her birthday than we anticipated (a mere 9 days prior), so there just wasn't a way for us to host a party. Auntie DD was so gracious and kind enough to make yet another stunning dress for Ava that she would have worn to her party, and is instead wearing in these pictures.
It took us two months to finally take her pictures because the weather has been so horrendously hot! We finally capitalized on a cool day, and I must say...these pictures are well worth staying up a bit past bedtime for (as we needed the setting sunlight!).
I just love how much Ava loves to take pictures. This was a 30 minute session, and she kept saying "more pictures! more pictures!" Too cute!
