Greyson is a super happy and playful little guy. He loves his sister more than anything or anyone else in this world, and literally squeals with delight as we open her door each morning to get her up...it warms our hearts! Though he's quite serious with expressions, he's super silly and loves to tease and make people smile :) And boy is he adventurous...no fear, and seemingly endless energy!
2-Year Check-Up Stats:
- Height: 39 inches (off-the-charts)
- Weight: 35 pounds (off-the-charts)
- Continues to meet and exceed all developmental milestones
- Talk talk TALK! He can construct full sentences already, and has been doing so since about 20 months. This is my favorite stage, because communication opens up so many wonderful things!
- Run, jump, climb pretty much anything and everything...he's slowly learning that this includes absolutely nothing in our home!
- Though I've never sat down and taught him, he's somehow absorbed the ability to count to 10, identify all the colors correctly, and sing his ABCs...another smart kiddo we have apparently!
- Sleep...FINALLY! He was the absolute worst sleeper on the planet until we hired a sleep trainer at 16 months old...since then he's been sleeping 11ish hours at night with a 1-1.5 hour nap during the day...it's glorious and worth every penny we spent!
- Super picky unlike his sister, but he LOVES avocado, all berries (especially blackberries), bananas, apples, broccoli, all meat, and cheese
- Vegetables and anything I make for dinner have been a huge challenge. He's been opting to starve lately instead of eating my dinners...super stubborn little man, but he compensates by eating a huge breakfast
- Play with his sister, and even his friends
- Read - he could sit and read for an hour or more...which we LOVE
- Playgrounds, being outside, riding his bike - anything and everything active
- All crafts, just like his big sis
- Ride trains or tractors - his two favorite vehicles
- Sweet, and very sensitive
- Playful - loves to make people smile and laugh
- Very serious and reserved in new settings, takes a while for him to warm up
- Very independent and loves to do things on his own
- Not much of a snuggler, but happily obliges at bedtime
