Ava has truly lived up to her middle name - she is such a JOY! So happy, so vivacious, so outgoing, so sensitive, so loving. We are just so very proud of the beautiful, kind person she is becoming!
At this age, Ava loves:
- Playing with her friends (Em, Izzy, Anthony, Lyla, Nathan, Luke, James, Haylee & Annabelle)
- Playing make-believe with her princesses, dolls, baby Greyson...anything really. I am continually in awe of her imagination!
- Reading! This girl could read books ALL DAY LONG!
- Learning - on entirely her own accord, she's learned colors, numbers, letters, how to make secondary colors, and is already starting to piece together how to spell
- Playing outdoors - I make sure we get a little time outdoors everyday, and she just loves exploring nature, playing with her potions, play set, and water
- Museums - train museum, children's museum and the zoo are her favorites!
- Art & crafts
- Mommy time - baby Greyson has indeed been Ava's toughest transition of her life, and she is always asking for more 1:1 time with mommy (and daddy is the best for helping make that happen as much as possible!)
Ava absolutely loves to make other people happy and smile/laugh, so she spends most of her time being silly, which we love! She is also very, VERY sensitive - her feelings are easily hurt, which is hard on my mama heart, but she is also incredibly perceptive of how others feel and uses her sensitivity to make others feel better when they're sad or hurting.

What's your favorite thing to do inside? Sing, play (yes, and also arts & crafts)
What's your favorite thing to do outside? Potions (yes, and also ride her bike!)
Who are your friends? Emmie, Izzy (definitely her besets buds, but also Anthony, Lyla, Nathan, Luke, James, Haylee & Annabelle)
What makes you happy? Smiling (being silly, being tickled, playing with friends or mama/dada)
What makes you sad? (when people don't share or take out of her hands)
What's one thing you love about Daddy? That he makes me fly!
What's one thing you love about Mommy? Hugs!
What's one thing you love about baby Greyson? Giving him hugs (she also loves that he thinks she is the coolest thing ever - smiling and giggling at her all the time)
What's your favorite song? Frozen Songs - First Time in Forever (all of Moana's songs too)
What's your favorite food? Vegetables (Broccoli, green beans, peppers, beets, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, avocado, cheese, meat, and anything mom makes)!
What's your favorite place to go? Zoo
What do you take to sleep with you at night? Bunnies (the same 3 pink bunnies she's been snuggling to sleep since she was 6 months old)
How much does Mommy love you? All the stars in the sky and the waves in the sea (More than all the stars in the sky and the waves in the sea is the official saying...she just leaves out the first two words :))
How much does Daddy love you? Sooooooo much!
What's your favorite video? Frozen
What's your most favorite place you've visited? Disneyland
What do you want to be when you grow up? Anna! (Doctor for animals is what I hear most frequently)
What's something you thank God for? Disneyland (baby Greyson is always first out of her mouth during our nightly prayers...and then our health and safety)
What's the best thing about your life? Pictures, Family
These pictures capture her personality perfectly! I'm so relieved she still has her "Ava Smile," though I'm sure it will be gone soon....she's growing up so fast! We love you Ava Joy! Happy Third Birthday!
